Just when you think a person couldn’t be any saltier than the saltiest sea on the earth (the dead sea), here comes Draymond Green. The Golden State Warrior’s player recently tried to shade the Young Money rapper in his podcast, Dray Dray by saying, “Is Nicki Minaj gonna mention ‘Bron in every song? Every song she’s released since June 2016, there’s something about LeBron in it. I mean, damn, like, LeBron is great, but Jesus Christ, at some point it just becomes…too repetitive. Jesus Christ, you can’t mention ‘Bron in every song you do.”
He even gave his opinion about the Nicki and Remy beef and how he felt about the length in time it took for her to respond and the response record she dropped with labelmates Drake and Lil Wayne.
“Some would say she only put Wayne and Drake’s verse on there because you couldn’t handle your own. You needed them to draw more attention because you knew your comeback wasn’t strong enough for what “ShETHER was. I can’t view it as a diss song, I can only view it as you threw some shots in a song.”
Well I don’t know if this was coming from a genuine place as a listener and lover of hip hop or if he just isn’t feeling the femcee but it’s okay Dray you will have your day. Maybe someday someone will shout you out in their songs.
