It seems as if Chris Brown can’t catch a break. From Soulja Boy to threatening to kill Karrueche the media has their hands full with this R&B bad boy. It seems that with all this negative news floating around Brown is winning and winning in the courtroom.
His former manager Mike Girguis filed a lawsuit to seize $1.5 million in assets from Brown for himself and his company Nitevision before his “lavish spending habits” catch up with him and prevent him from delivering it. The motion was denied in court by a L.A. Superior Court Judge landing Chris Brown with another W.
Attorney for Mike G filed the motion because they are feared the Chris’s irresponsible financial choices will result in his inability to pay what is rightfully owed. According to Girguis he says “I have worked with Brown since 2012 and have seen firsthand Brown’s lavish spending habits,” claiming Brown’s travel along costs him “anywhere from $50,000 to $200,000” per trip and to also make the claim that Brown goes over record label budgets often resulting in extra funds having to be covered out of his pocket and not Brown’s. According to Girguis’s attorneys, Nitevision could suffer “great or irreparable injury” if Brown doesn’t rectify the terms of their agreement back in 2014 and if he continues spending large sums of money without settling their debt first. However the judge was not trying to hear a word.
